My Whole30 - Day 12 & 13
I'm at little behind on my blog schedule so I figured I would combine Day 12 and Day 13 into one post!
To be honest, not too much new to report. Still feeling good. Actually finding it easier every day. I am excited about weighing myself tomorrow!
DAY 12 - WHOLE30 EATS
For breakfast and lunch, I enjoyed left over almond butter chicken with mashed cauliflower.

For dinner, I just fired up some chicken breasts I had marinating in the same marinade I used for the swordfish earlier in the week. Doubling marinade batches proves to be very helpful when you want some food in a hurry!

I've really been enjoying cooking in my cast iron pan lately! |
DAY 13 - WHOLE30 EATS
For breakfast on Monday, I had my rendition of steak and eggs! 2 eggs sunny side up and some roast beef. Apparently I was hungry because I totally forgot to stop and take a picture!
For lunch, I decided to try a Mocha steak rub from the book "It Starts With Food." The rub smelled wonderful!
After letting the grass-fed NY strip steaks rest with the rub for about an hour. I seared them on a very hot cast iron skillet, coated with some Ghee (organic clarified butter).
We paired the mocha steaks with some roasted vegetables. Talk about the LUNCH OF CHAMPIONS!

All the fresh veggies I had left: Brussels Sprouts, red pepper, red onion, before I put them in the oven. |

Nom, nom, nom |
For dinner, I made a quick ground beef skillet with some frozen vegetables I found. It was Asian inspired and pretty yummy for something I put together in less than 15 minutes!
I definitely think I had enough protein today! And boy, was it a delicious day!
In other news, look at this cute puppy!!! Do you think we're ready to be puppy parents?!
