UPDATE: September 15, 2014

On October 31, 2013, I miraculously gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. That experience has changed my life in ways that I cannot even put into words. With regards to my weight, as expected and recommended, I gained weight during my pregnancy to support my growing child. I am now in the process of SLOWLY losing any excess weight and regaining strength. 

I want to lose weight slowly because I am breast feeding my daughter and rapid weight loss can affect milk supply. I am also not focusing on getting my body "back." Giving life to my daughter has changed me completely and I'm ready for a NEW me. I don't know what that looks like, but I just want to be a confident, healthy, and strong mama that my girl could look up to with pride. 

7 Weeks Postpartum
 Since the beginning of the year, I've maintained a Whole30/Paleo eating lifestyle about 90% of the time. I have also begun to do Crossfit on a regular basis. So far this year, I have lost 26 lbs and have officially lost all of the baby weight. My body looks different than it did before at this weight, since pregnancy surely changes everything! But I know that with a continued commitment to healthy eating and exercise, I will reach a new level of fitness. My goal is to lose another 26 lbs, which would bring me to my ultimate goal which I had back in 2010. I know it's doable! I'm at the halfway point!

If you're interested in my weight loss journey from 2010 - 2012 below are the status pictures. During this time frame, I lost about 30 pounds. I started losing weight following the Weight Watchers program and then switched to the Whole30 program/paleo philosophy the summer of 2012.
